The Vastness of the Ocean

My aunt and uncle have a piece of art that shows a tiny orange sailboat on a large white canvas, which I have always liked. My aunt or my sister or someone once explained to Mike that "it shows the vastness of the ocean," which is now Mike's go-to phrase for all modern art.

I thought of it when I saw this picture, which I think shows "the vastness of the couch."

By the way, if you ever wondered what Mike's face would look like on a tiny redheaded baby girl, this is your answer. (Not as scary as you would have thought! Pretty darn cute, in fact.)
