I snuck this picture the other morning, but this is pretty much what Brendan does every morning while I'm drying my hair. You'll notice the already-read books scattered around him and the toys unnoticed in the corner....There's plenty of time later in the day for cars and trucks, and he does find them then. Somehow, first thing in the morning seems to be his reading hour!
(Yes, I have noticed that the book is both upside-down and backwards. Since Brendan has never in his life seen a monkey, nevermind a cartoon monkey jumping on a bed, I for one will not hold this against him!)
